Best and Worst puplic space
Huize is the home of many parcs and open spaces. It is definetly not crowded by enormous buildings. In my neighbourhood there are only one or two tall buildings to see. When I get on my bicycle I've reached the beach in 5 min, a forest in 10 min, and the center is 2 min. But let's get to the point:
The Worst Public Space.
About 4 years ago they have built a big building in the center of Huizen. This building is the home of a movie-theatre, a musical-theatre, a club, three bar's, a conference centre, two restaurant's, a bowling alley and the library. (surely I'm forgetting something)
Next to this building there is a pretty big square. Grey, modern and surrounded bij concrete benches. This square is supposed to be used by the resients of Huizen to socialize. Instead of getting together on this square, everyone is avoiding it. The happy people made way for the skaters and problem-youth. This is the most depressing space in huizen. (If you look at is like that, Huizen is not so bad after all)
The Best Public Space.
This one is (not suprisingly) the opposite of the worst space. The best space is the city-park. I can see this park from my window. This park is the home of: Art, ruines, a soccer-field, a soccer-cage, tennis-court's, a lookout point, nice walkway's, a playground and a childrens' zoo. This is a place where people like to come. They walk their dog, play a sport or see some animals. It is easy to reach by foot, bycicle and car. The perfect relaxing spot. It is nice in all seasons of the year.
I hope this was enough informaton about these two places in Huizen. Photo's wil be added on the next edit. I'll have to make them first.

Scenario assignment
At first I misunderstood the assignment. I thought you had to create your own concept in wich you had to work out 2 or 3 scenario's. But I think I've got it right this time, enjoy:
Location: The 8th floor of the HvA building.
Leon - The 8th floor of this school is the home of the Media and Information Management education. It is also the home of MIMagine, a sort of fraturnity. One of the board-members is sitting in the office situated on the 8th floor. Leon is working on a computer, designing a poster for one of the upcomming activities. He would like to see this floor less seperated by walls. In a open space there is much more inspiration for creative work.
Marijke - On the A-side of the 8th floor is a computer-landscape. That is a sort of cluster of computers where you can work by yourself or with a group. Marijke would like to see better rules for different locations. She thinks that if students know what a space is ment for they won't be doing different things in that space. If you want to work on your school assignment and someone else is listening to loud music and chatting with friends, you might not get enough concentration because you are distracted by that person. So: better rules for public spaces.
Is this the correct way of posting my assignments? Please let me know...

First Post
Heey,
I clould say al lot of cool things on my first post, but i'd rather keep them to myself. I'm guessing that everything that has to do with school has to be written in English. For those involved: Sorry for my (future) lousy grammar. I might need "extra lessons"...
De rest kan ik gewoon aanspreken in het Nederlands. Bij deze: Hallo.
grtz
